CSAV Group launches a new direct service covering Asia - South Africa Trade

CSAV Group is to launch a new service at the end of July to cover North/Central China and South Africa with a weekly schedule deploying 7 x 2,500 TEUs vessels. The new service, called New Discovery service, is the third one that CSAV Group operates in South Africa after Marco Polo and ASAX; reinforcing its commitment with this important emerging market, while strengthening its competitive position for further expand coverage in the future. Fully operated, New Discovery service will cover : Xingang - Shanghai - Ningbo - Chiwan - Hong Kong - Singapore - Durban - Cape Town - Singapore - Xingang. First southbound sailing from Xingang is scheduled to be made by the 2,500 teu Hammonia Pomerenia on July 28th arriving in Cape Town on August 25th. Consequently, ASAX service will stop calling Durban.
